Job Description
The Reliability Engineer II identifies and manages risks that could adversely affect plant operations and safety. This position accomplishes this by developing and maintaining asset management strategies, performing failure analysis and loss elimination functions, facilitating asset criticality ranking, developing design improvements, coordinating operator reliabiity training, providing technical operations assistance, and analyzing asset performance for assigned plant areas in order to ensure adherence to best practices.
Required Skills
Requires frequent sitting and use of computer/keyboard, occasional standing, walking, stooping, climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, reaching above and below shoulder level, crawling, pushing and pulling up to 75 pounds, reaching above and below shoulder level, crawling, pushing and pulling up to 75 pounds, use of tools and foot controls and turning of valves. Requires good finger dexterity, ability to perform close work, good hearing and color vision and the ability to speak. Requires the ability to analyze data, conduct research, implement recommendations, develop plans and goals, present information to others and work under pressure of time constraints. Over 50 percent of the day is spent in an office environment. Exposed occasionally to dirt, dust, chemicals, extreme heat and cold, vibration, noise, poor ventilation, electrical risks, confined areas and working at heights up to 150 feet. Travel is required to meet with vendors and for training.
Required Experience
This position requires a Bachelor sdegree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil or Electrical Engineering from an EAC/ABET accredited engineering program and 2 years related experience. An EIT certification is preferred. The applicant must have good oral and written communication skills and comptuer skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook is required. Some travel will also be required.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
